# Enable data exploration

You can enable prediction row storage to activate the [Data Exploration](https://docs.datarobot.com/en/docs/api/reference/sdk/data-exploration.html) tab, where you can export a deployment's stored training data, prediction data, and actuals to compute and monitor custom business or performance metrics on the [Custom Metrics tab](https://docs.datarobot.com/en/docs/api/reference/sdk/custom-metrics.html) or outside DataRobot.
