Feature flag: Enable Custom Models GitLab Integration

If you add a custom model to the Workshop, you can use a GitLab repository to pull files and include them in the model.

  1. Select a custom model you wish to add files to, and navigate to Assemble > Add files > Remote repository.

  2. Click add new in window to integrate a new remote repository with DataRobot.

  3. Before registering a repository, you must authorize the GitLab DataRobot Application. You are redirected to and must authorize the consent form on the GitLab website.

  4. Once authorized, the modal updates. Choose a repository URL from the dropdown list, or paste the repository URL.

  5. To register a GitLab enterprise repository, you must also generate a new Personal Access Token. To do so, navigate to GitLab, enter a name for the new token, set the mandatory scopes (read_api and read_repository), and click Create personal access token.

The newly generated token appears at the top of the page.

  6. Enter the new token into the Personal Access Token field in the modal:

  7. After completing the fields, click Test to verify connection to the repository. Once you have verified the connection, click Add repository.
