V11.0.1

April 30, 2025

The DataRobot Self-Managed AI Platform v11.0.1 release, part of DataRobot's continual effort to secure the product and platform, addresses issues reported in earlier releases. See also the features introduced in v11.0.0, released April 14, 2025.

Notice: New versions of Gemini released; Bison retired

On May 24, 2025, Gemini 1.5 Pro v001 and Gemini 1.5 Flash v001 will be replaced with v002. On-premise users must upgrade to DataRobot release 11.0.1 to continue using these embedding models. On September 24, 2025, both Gemini 1.5 Pro v002 and Gemini 1.5 Flash v002 will be retired.

Once upgraded, any LLM blueprint in the playground will be automatically switched to v002. If you have a registered model or deployment that uses v001, you must send the LLM blueprint to the Registry’s model workshop again and redeploy it to start using v002. Alternatively, if using the Bolt-on Governance API for inference, specify gemini-1.5-flash-002 / gemini-1.5-pro-002 as the model ID in the inference request without redeploying the LLM blueprint.

Additionally, Google Bison has been retired. See the full list of LLM availability in DataRobot, with links to creator documentation, for assistance in choosing a replacement embedding model.

Issues fixed in V11.0.1

The following issues have been fixed since release v11.0.0:

Applications

  • APP-4026: Fixes an issue where, when a transfer was requested, some files were not imported from a custom application source to a codespace.
  • APP-4050: Fixes an issue with the internal URL, so custom applications using tools such as Chainlit and Next.js run seamlessly.

Notebooks

  • CFX-1739: Fixes an issue that caused terminal freezing on tasks that produced a large number of output and/or required frequent screen updates.

Data

  • DM-17711: Fixes certain wrangling issues that occurred in environments that had Minio configured for storage.
  • DM-17630: Implements a change that now allows special characters to be used in the Elasticsearch URL, improving support for complex passwords.
  • DM-17661: Fixes an issue where "open in SQL Editor" produced an incorrect SQL statement when a dataset was published from a recipe. Now the correct SQL statement is generated without requiring an extra common table expression (CTE).

Model management

  • MMM-18930: Fixes an issue to provide better support for offloading prediction statistics for multiclass deployments through the redictionStats/fromJSON/ endpoint.

Modeling

  • MODEL-18975: Improves handling of a PDF image parsing error in the OCR service. Now, when the input PDF contains an unsupported image, the error message is saved to the error report. The PDF input is returned unchanged.
