SAP Datasphere

Prerequisites

Before connecting to SAP Datasphere in DataRobot, make sure you've created a database user for the space you want to connect to.

Required parameters

The table below lists the minimum required fields to establish a connection with SAP Datasphere:

Required field Description
hostname The unique identifier of the device on a network.
port The unique identifier of the connection endpoint.

Feature considerations

Note that Datasphere only exposes views through API for data consumption. If you want to bring in data from Datasphere to DataRobot for modeling, make sure the data is exposed as a view.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution Instructions
When attempting to execute an operation in DataRobot, the firewall requests that you clear the IP address each time. Add all allowed IPs for DataRobot. See Allowed source IP addresses. If you've already added the allowed IPs, check the existing IPs for completeness.
